Romeo sees the economic and environmental benefit of harvesting available materials for construction instead of investing in new materials. He is enthusiastic about teaching others what he has learned. Romeo hopes to continue working with this kind of construction.

For Romeo, the declining economy is one of his country's biggest problems. This has brought on other problems, such as increases in crime and hunger. He believes the government should fix these problems.

He dreams that his children will be good citizens and have more educational opportunities than he had. He believes Long Way Home will help to provide some of these opportunities and hopes his children will attend the vocational school. In his work with LWH, he has met many new people and learned about their different cultures.

Since February 2009, Romeo has learned:
Mixing Concrete Packing Tires Pouring Foundations
Building Drainage Leveling for Construction Math for Ground Layout
Estimating Materials Teamwork
